Week 3 - Mexico MTC - You Don't Want Salazar - June 19, 2025

 Hola Todos!

Last P-day after I sent my email it started pouring for the first time since I got here! It was super fun! We were in the middle of a pickle ball game though so that wasn't the best.
Got caught in the rain!
The next morning I got to break out my fancy rain coat.
Walking to classes with Elder Garner. June 14, 2025
This week we said bye to one of our teachers. He was so funny and such a good teacher. We're all going to miss him. On that note we are also about to get new teachers again and it's honestly so sad.
With two of our teachers we we will be leaving.
This is our teacher who is leaving the MTC.
We will be getting all new teachers next week so we had to say goodbye to this teacher.

On Sundays we have a class called Go, Send Do. In this class our district is given a topic to learn about and then each person goes off on their own to learn about it. Well this week after we all finished up what we we're reading we all stood up to tell Elder Sibbett, our district leader, that we were ready to talk about what we read, but when we looked at him he was completely out.
Sleepy Elder Sibbett and all of us messing with him.
So we did the only thing a good responsible district would do, we left.
In reality we just moved out to the hallway, but it was super funny to see the video of him waking up and realizing everyone was gone.

Monday me and Elder Garner had to go in to the city to get our IDs.
Driving in to the city to get our Mexican IDs
It was super cool because the immigration office was in our mission and we actually ended up meeting the missionaries in the area because they were there renewing their IDs. It was super fun to talk to them until they started going off about all the people we don't want to train us. But they were especially going of about how we don't want Elder Salazar. They wouldn't tell us why, so that's fun.

Yesterday was Elder Sibbett's birthday. We got him a bunch of stuff from the tienda. Just a bunch of treats and other random stuff. I think he enjoyed it.
A crocheted missionary we bought Elder Sibbett for his birthday.
That's about it for this week!

I love you all

Other pictures from the week:

I made a hacky sack from a sock that I bought at the tienda. I filled it with seeds that fall from the trees here and then sewed it shut with my sewing kit from home.

No explanation. Just Hermana Thueson hugging a tree.
