Week 5 - Mexico CCM - Microwave That Thang! - July 1, 2025

 Hola Todos!

The Hermanas like to put clips in my hair
This week was so basic I honestly don't know if anything really special happened. I got sick on Thursday so it's been fun to try to focus on Spanish while not feeling my best. We also ended up getting another new teacher on Monday.
Had to say goodbye to Hermano Tuz on the far left.
I think they just don't like our district. Jokes aside our new teacher does a good job so I'm excited to learn from him this last week. That's the other thing, this is my last week! It's crazy to think I've been in the MTC for 5 weeks already. I can't wait to get out and serve.

Anyway, the title this week is because we've learned that like half of the desserts they give us are 100 times better in the microwave so we've been microwaving everything.
More hairclips just for fun.
Sorry mom for the late and very small email!

Love you all!
-Elder Robinson

From our phone call:
At our last devotional, Hermana Anderson drew an amazing picture of the apostle who was speaking on the video. After we all saw it, we wanted her to draw us. She took this picture of me in the Uncle Rico pose
and came up with this incredible drawing!
There is lots of construction going on at the CCM. Hermana Adams thought this hole would make the perfect burial plot.
Hermana Adams cut bangs and all I could think of was the character from Dark Crystal. Hermana Adams is the best!

Now that all the high school seniors have graduated, we are getting large numbers of missionaries each week. The CCM is getting very crowded and I'm glad that I am leaving soon!

I had my mom send me more socks. It is very rainy and wet here. I have to change my socks multiple times a day because I'll be walking on the grass and all of a sudden sink into a huge puddle! I'm running out of socks before wash day.

Last story that I forgot to mention last week - In sacrament meeting on Sundays, you never know who is going to be speaking. Everyone comes prepared with a talk, then our branch president randomly chooses three people to come up and give their talk in English and Spanish. Then there is a musical number from the district that is leaving for their missions that week. If there is still time, they will call up another random missionary to come give their talk. On Sunday the 22nd, three people had given their talks and the musical number was going on. I looked down for a minute and then looked back up and accidentally made direct eye contact with the branch president. He leaned over to his counselor and said something. I immediately knew that I was going to get called up to speak so I just pulled out my talk. Sure enough, after the musical number the counselor got up and said, "We will now hear a talk from Elder Robinson"! I now have another talk prepared even though this Sunday is testimony meeting and then I leave for my first area!
