Week 17 - Colmena - Forever Inside - September 24, 2025

What is up everyone!

Happy Monda... Wednesday!
We went to the temple today and so we are having p-day today instead of last Monday.
So let's get on with the week

Nothing really happened any day. We can't find anyone that's willing to talk to us and everyone that we manage to get lessons with cancels.

Tuesday and Wednesday
Nothing really happened but we tried to work.
I also cut my hair again and this time I took it really short.
We had a zoom zone conference on Wednesday. President asked us each to send a phot of us. You can see my new short hairdo. Thanks to Elder Hickey for cutting the back!
Thursday
Fever. Big giant fever. I spent the whole day in bed trying not to die. I also just watched the old Old Testament videos on the gospel library app. They are peak. I put a few clips from them in my photos and I'll explain them later.

Friday
🤒😴

Saturday
Back to working hard and finding no one.

Sunday
We finally had a mini lesson! It was at the very end of the day. We were at a park just trying to get someone to talk to us. After a while we made our rounds over to this grandma and grandpa who were at the park with their granddaughter. We taught them and they seemed pretty interested, but unfortunately they haven't responded to any messages.

Monday
Elder Hickey had to go back to the hospital for his final checkup. He's doing great! Then we had to hurry home because our house finally got fixed! No more bucket showers for me. Its amazing! But it took all day and we had to be there the entire time.
Tuesday again
Just more trying to find people to teach.

Wednesday(Today)
We went to the temple! It was awesome to finally get to go again. There were a lot of missionaries from the CCM there which was super weird to see.
Our district at the temple.
After the temple we went to McDonalds. The happy meal toy looked like Elder.
Then we went to a place with a bunch of pool tables. You pay $2 an hour per table to play.

Okay so to explain the bible video clips. The one of the kids with the map is just like any missionaries here trying to navigate their areas. Too many hills.

The second video reminded me of the relief society president's daughter every time we eat with them and the food is done. She just kind of appears out of nowhere and goes, "The food is ready😐". I don't know why but its so much funnier having actually been there.
Anyways that's all for this week.

Love you all!
Elder Robinson
