Week 22 - Mexico City - The Office Season 1 Ep 4 - October 28, 2025

What's up everyone! Hope y'all had a great week!

This week was full of no sleep and a lot to do and yet I don't think I have much to talk about.

This week we had zone conference which means we have to bring Book of Mormons, New Testaments, Pass Along cards, packages from home, and anything else people ask us for throughout the transfer. It also means immediately after we get there, we have to go pick up the food for the conference. So lets get to the week.

Wednesday

We had gone to bed late the night before because we had work to do and then had to get up at 5:00 to go to our zone conference in Toluca.

Late nights working in the office mixed with 5:00 am wake up calls make for tired missionaries.

 
We showed up and helped get things set up. Then I left to go get the food for the zone conference with 2 of the other secretaries. After everyone ate we stayed for the second half of zone conference and then headed on home to do office work! Yay!

Thursday 

We woke up early again! Yay. Then we went out to the other zone conference, but this time we stayed for the whole first half while the other 3 secretaries went to get the food. Then we left before the second half started. We ended off the day with more office work.

Friday

We didn't have to wake up early but we did leave early because we had to go pick up food for the leadership meeting.

Luckily we didn't have to stay for this one and it's right next to the offices so we dropped off the food and got to work. We had a lot of catch up to do on office work so again that's how we spent the rest of our day.

Saturday 

We woke up at a normal time again, but we left early for... SERVICE!! This was actually so exciting. I have not had the opportunity to participate in any big service projects since I got here so I was hyped. We went and painted the walls in a member's house and trimmed their garden. Super fun other than the hundreds of bugs that lived in the tree that were not happy about us cutting down a ton of branches.

After we finished, we went to go work in the offices. When we showed up, there was a Halloween party going on right outside at the church building next door. The other ward (The American ward) was having a Halloween party.

So we talked to them for a minute, found my 4th cousin once removed (who was from Idaho and was there visiting her son - found using the 'who's related to me' search in Family Tree) , learned about my great great great great? grandparents, saw tons of fun costumes, and finally felt like it was actually Halloween time. Then we worked in the offices!

We found some Christmas lights in our apartment so we got a head start on decorating!

Sunday

It was Sunday. Church and then office work. Super chill.

Monday

Elder Murri's Birthday!!!! We made him breakfast, played sports with the zone, ate pizza and cake, and as always, did office work

This next week is going to be pretty busy as well so I'm getting prepped for that.
