Week 26 - Mexico City - The Office Season 2 Ep 2 - November 24, 2025

What's up everyone! Hope you're all doing well. Uhm, let's get into the email I guess

Saw my CCM companion Elder Garner at zone conference this week!

Tuesday we went to immigration. It was for one of the new elders. The CCM messed up and put him down as an Hermana when they took him through immigration, so I had to take him back. Well, after about 3 hours with him inside immigration he came out and told me they were telling him they can't help him. Why could they not help him? They decided they didn't want to. That's literally it. So I have to go back a different day with him. Silly Mexican government wasting 3 hours of my time.

Wednesday was leadership conference so we had to go get food for that. Super chill day. Not! After the conference the APs came in and told me that President wants to push the food for zone conference the next 3 days by 1 hour. Not a huge deal but kind of stressful. Well I text our Panda Express guy, Omar, and ask him if that's chill. Well just as I sent that text I get a text from the equivalent of my boss for immigration telling me that an elder has to go to immigration the next day. Uhm, we have zone conference the next day and I kind of have to be there. Crap, now I have to figure that out too. Then suddenly another text pops up from Omar, he says it's chill... but the food isn't until next week right? Oh no. Oh No. OH NO! Conference is tomorrow! Okay everything is fine I just gotta fix the food for tomorrow and also change my whole schedule so that somehow the food gets to conference while I'm also at immigration. So I text Omar and tell him that we in fact need it tomorrow. Then I had to text the Elder and tell him to get to our house now so we can go to immigration the next day. Then I had to make a game plan for how we were going to get the food to conference, assuming Omar is the goat and says okay, while I'm at immigration. Well Omar was the goat and luckily there are 2 other secretaries that we could do exchanges with so that everything could work out. So in the end zone conference was saved and Elder Sokolowsky is now legal. And after all that, I went outside and just sat there. That sucked to figure out.

Thursday 

Sokolowsky got his Mexican ID. Yay. Then me and Elder Badillo went over to zone conference.

Friday

Me and Elder Mendoza did exchanges and went and got the food for zone conference while the other 2 secretaries actually went to zone conference to participate.

Nothing crazy happened. Super chill.

Saturday

Me and Mendoza went to this zone conference to participate while the other 2 secretaries got the food. Also chill. President Jasso is the goat! Super good conference.

Sunday

Normal Sunday other than the family we ate with really liked talking with us so it ended up being a 3 hour comida Nothing else happened.

Also somewhere in there I decided to try and fix the laminator that has been broken the whole time I've been here.

Opened that John up and figured out the motor is barely hanging on. Somehow the motor is just as expensive as buying a new laminator so that's cool.
